Archives Collection

The Archives collects historical records, objects, and publications in order to preserve the history of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, U.S.–Ontario Province, a Roman-Catholic Institute of women religious devoted to education and social justice.

The collections document the histories of Holy Names schools and ministries throughout the province, including New York, Washington, Mid-Atlantic, Florida, Mississippi, California, Oregon and Washington. In addition to preserving institutional records, the aim of the Archives is to educate the public about the Sisters' contributions to the communities in which they have served from 1859 to the present.

The Archives of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, U.S.–Ontario Province is a private, institutional repository. Access to the collections may be arranged by appointment only. All research requests are subject to the approval of the Director of Archives.
